Mark is a multiple award-winning author of both fiction and nonfiction who’s been published by heavyweights Simon & Schuster and HarperCollins. He’s spent his life in high-impact positions where every word matters. He’s been a pastor, teacher, counselor, and speaker. In 2020, Mark retired after 46 years of preaching and devoted himself fully to writing. He’s written thirteen books of his own and ghostwritten seven more for leading influencers. Leslie Ferguson
Writing Coach

Leslie holds an MA in English Literature and an MFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University. As a twenty-year memoir expert, she has a keen eye for grammar and usage details as well as for genre, voice, and style. Leslie taught high school English and college writing for two decades before moving to San Diego to pursue a career as an author and editor. Her memoir, When I Was Her Daughter is the winner of 12 awards, including the Readers’ Favorite Gold Medal for Memoir, the Memoir Prize for Books, and the Pencraft Book Award.

Her specialties include: literary, memoir, YA, and women’s fiction.

Laua Taylor

Laura Taylor is a bestselling author and a veteran editor. She is the recipient of a dozen national book writing awards and has received book endorsements from authors Stephen King, the late Pat Conroy, and W.E.B. Griffin. Published by numerous imprints including Bantam Books and  Harlequin/Silhouette, Laura has more than a million books in print. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Master of Arts in Communications. 


Her specialties include: memoir, black ops, military fiction, science fiction, thriller, mainstream contemporary and historical fiction, mystery/suspense, romance and mainstream women's fiction.

Carlos graduated from USC film school and Monterey College of Law. He is the acclaimed author of an array of underground Mexican-American books of poetry and prose. He has written films featuring Academy Award-winning movie stars including Danny Glover, Josh Hutcherson and Scott Eastwood. Carlos has the distinction of having written silver screen legend Lauren Bacall’s final film, The Forger. He is also an award-winning documentarian who has taught film writing at University of California, San Diego. Carlos' reputation as both a writing coach and ghost writer makes him highly sought after by professional and aspiring writers alike.
