New Staff Member - Welcome to Acorn Lacey!

We didn’t leave this year’s Southern California Writer’s Conference empty handed!

Not only has Acorn Publishing received some fantastic manuscript submissions, we found ourselves a talented, hardworking, and utterly adorable intern.

We are so excited to welcome Lacey Impellizeri to our Acorn Publishing family. Lacy has been writing since she was eight. In fourth grade, author Sarah Pennypacker spoke to her class. She told Lacey if she wrote every day, she could become an author just like her, so Lacey picked up a pencil eleven years ago and hasn’t stopped since.

While attending Grossmont Community College in San Diego, Lacey is working very hard on completing her first novel and becoming an accomplished author and publicist.

She will be getting plenty of hands on experience, as her primary responsibilities with Acorn will include working directly with our authors on promotion of their books. Lacey will also coordinate events such as giveaways, guide authors to marketing platforms, proofread client work, and attend book festivals with our team.

In her spare time, Lacey likes to watch a little too much Judge Judy, she loves hand lettering and calligraphy, her favorite color is purple, and she strives to see the world a little bit brighter with each new day.
