Meet Our Newest Author - Agnes Deglon

Acorn Publishing is proud to be taking on another children's book author! Agnes Deglon joined us this March and will be releasing her series, KIDS QUESTIONS ABOUT LIFE, in late June.

"My intention with this series of books is to understand and answer the questions about life posed by my boys. I have used my background as a licensed acupuncturist, diplomate of Oriental Medicine, biochemist and wife of a physicist who wrote his PhD thesis on the creation of the universe."

KIDS QUESTIONS ABOUT LIFE is an educational book series written in simple language for parents, teachers, and kids who are pondering the deeper, more complex yet so essential issues of life. The series will include three books, one on the body, one on the mind, and one on the soul.

The second book in her series has already won the 2016 Royal Palm Literary Award!

A Little About Agnes...

Author, Licensed Acupuncturist, Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, Master of Science in Biochemistry, and mother of two boys

Agnes Deglon holds degrees in subjects ranging from translation to biochemistry. Not just satisfied with the scientific approach to life, the author seeks to further explain the Universe. Through her studies in the Eastern approach to medicine and the body, mind, soul connection, Agnes has rounded out her understanding and approach to that which is not taught in schools but is required for a healthy, happy life. This endeavor became even more important to her after her first child started questioning the Universe and asked the question that many parents fear: “What’s a soul?” With a loving approach and scientific structure, Agnes is writing a trilogy of critical books. Her new series Kids’ Questions about Life is a crucial guide to the human being. Body, mind, and soul are explained in the children’s own language.
