We are excited to introduce you to our newest Acorn author, Vince Nesci! His upcoming thriller, Bloodline of Evil, will be released this fall.

Bloodline of Evil

by Vince Nesci

In a wealthy enclave on the Hudson, a dark secret is waiting to explode.

Dobbs Ferry has never seen a murder—until the brutal slaying of a prominent local woman rips through the community’s privileged veneer.

The case is offered to George Luzzo, a seasoned detective coping with a divorce and a gnawing sense that his best years are behind him. George thought he knew his neighbors, but he soon discovers that the victim is no ordinary suburban housewife—she’s the stepdaughter of a fentanyl kingpin, and her death begins to unravel an international ring of corrupt politicians and cartel traffickers.

This is George’s chance to prove he’s still relevant. He teams up with Kara Meyer, an assistant district attorney whose background is full of surprises. Chemistry sparks between them as they dig ever deeper into a rabbit hole of deception, revenge, and ambition.

With bodies piling up, the case draws the eye of the US president, along with shadowy players whose idea of justice isn’t exactly legal. If their covert op goes wrong, George and Kara will lose everything—their careers, their freedoms, maybe even their lives. But if they walk away, so do the killers.

As national security teeters in the balance, George and Kara face a stark choice: Just how much will they risk to stop evil?

It’s wonderful to welcome a new author to the Acorn family! There is something so inspiring about seeing a writer’s journey come to fruition, especially when it involves such a unique and personal story. The dedication required to polish a manuscript and navigate the publishing world is immense, often requiring a level of discipline that mirrors what many of us face in our professional and academic lives. For instance, I’ve seen many students who are pursuing their own creative or technical goals struggle to balance their passion projects with intense university requirements, often needing statistics assignment help services to manage the data-heavy side of their studies so they can stay focused on their long-term dreams. I can’t wait to see this…

Really enjoyed reading this spotlight on the author—it’s always inspiring to see the journey behind the work, especially how personal experiences and persistence shape a writer’s voice. What stood out to me most was the authenticity and passion that clearly drives their storytelling, which is something readers genuinely connect with. As someone who often explores academic themes like Finance Dissertation Topics, I find it fascinating how different forms of writing—creative or technical—require a similar depth of research, structure, and originality. This feature does a great job of humanizing the author and making their achievements feel both impressive and relatable. It also motivates aspiring writers to keep going despite challenges. Looking forward to learning more about their upcoming projects and how…

It is always exciting to see a fresh voice join the literary world, and I truly enjoyed learning more about your newest author. There is something so inspiring about the dedication it takes to bring a story to life. I often find that appreciation for quality craftsmanship in writing also translates to other areas of life, such as personal style and fashion. I was recently reading a very insightful guide about Premium leather jackets 2026 that highlights the best materials and timeless designs for the upcoming seasons. That resource is excellent for anyone looking to invest in high-quality wardrobe pieces that last for years. Thank you for sharing this update, and I look forward to following the journey of your…
