But my manuscript was acquired through a nationwide search contest, and the team wanted to unveil the cover art alongside the announcement of the Acorn Publishing Debut Author Prize — so it was my first step after signing.’ Reminding readers that ‘a book cover’s job is to make a promise its pages will keep’, her powerful voice, intellect, and comedic talents take us on the journey from cover idea to cover reveal.
